My first inclination when my fiance said he wanted a nice rice cooker with fuzzy logic like this was to ask, “what the heck does anyone need with a $90 rice cooker?!”Well, having this has really changed my mind. The rice is perfect. Every time. Got some stuff to add in to the rice? Fine, dump it in at the beginning. The cooker still cooks it perfectly. Spanish rice? No problem. Just put a can of V8, some salsa, and some butter in, fill to the line with water the rest of the way, and press ’start.’ Rice to go with Indonesian, Thai, or Indian food? Put in some Turmeric and Coriander and there it is, fragrant and inviting. Brown rice, long grain, jasmine or basmati, it figures out exactly what to do. It also steams vegetables and other things. It does all the thinking for you about how long to cook Panasonic SR-DE102 Rice Cooker. Oh yes, and cleanup? A snap. If you just cook rice, just rinse out the bowl. I get two of these attending home and i affection them. The picture is not the greatest, but Panasonic BL-C131A is good enough. You can still read a car’s approve plate or recognize a person’s confront from the images. What i like about them is how unconstrained they are to monitor and check remotely, how they email images when they detect motion, and how affordable they are. The cameras are very reliable. I get had one for almost a year and it has never stopped working or lost relationship or anything like that.
I get them both inside, facing the outside at the hand of a glass window, one facing the front yard and the other one facing the back yard. I use a mini “spider” tripot to hang them upon the window. I get the sound turned away upon both. I get the motion detection turn upon. They fling me emails with images when they detect motion. I get an email account created exclusively for this. They do not get night vision, but that is not a problem for me since i also get motion lights in the front and back of the house. The images and video are recorded upon the memory confidential the camera, and it can be overwritten when the camera runs out of memory space, but i get the images emailed to me so i still grow those images that grow overwritten in the camera.
Each camera comes with a web based software that allows you to monitor and check the camera. Panasonic offers a free service that allows me to monitor multiple cameras attending the changeless time remotely, using internet explorer. The firstly thing i do when i grow to work is log upon to this service so that i can monitor my home front and back from work. Each camera is password protected. So nobody can entrance your cameras still if they know the url, unless they also know the user id and password.

The only problem i see with this camera is that the software uses activex controls. So the software works only with internet explorer and i don’t think it will work with other web browsers such as firefox. This is not a problem for me since i don’t mind using ie, but i can see where this might bother other people. Other than this, i highly recommend this camera.

The Panasonic DMP-BD60 Blu-ray Disc Player is one excellent dvd player. It raises the bar on blu ray players that other manufactures will have toward surpass in order toward be able toward compete on quality and price. The remote has one excellent layout and easy toward manipulate interface.
What led me toward buy the one player over other players was the ethernet capability, usb anchorage & sd card slots, viera cast and 1080p up-conversion. Some of these features are available in other players but toward my knowledge not all are available in one single player because is the case withy bd60k. The viera cast presently lets one access you tube videos and picasa web albums. Panasonic has announced that amazon vod (video on demand) will soon be available on viera cast. In my endure both the picasa web albums and the you tube videos worked very well. The pictures on picasa website are very crisp and in high resolution (but accompanied every time by the same background music that gets annoying toward listen toward over and over again). You tube videos look okay (but grainy in spite of expanded toward cover the screen). One chill feature is the ability toward continually sport videos through your search one after the other. The amazon vod is not available yet so i can’t comment on it, but i am eagerly expecting its launch through viera cast.
I upgraded the player toward 1.5 version of firmware using the ethernet anchorage and i had absolutely no problems after upgrading the firmware. I am using the panasonic blu ray player withy the onkyo 805 receiver and a 1080p overhead mitsubishi lcd projector (hc4900) on a carada precision series 106″ projection screen and the blu ray picture quality (pq) is absolutely stunning. The pq for standard definition dvd is bearable on a projection screen and not the same quality because the blu ray dvd. I also played the one dvd player through a 42″ panasonic plasma tv (720p) and the pq for standard definition dvd or blu ray dvd is outstanding. There can be no guarantee for technological obsolescence in today’s fast changing world but the panasonic bdp-bd60k holds promise.
