As anyone who has thoroughly done their generator shopping discovers, this Makita generator is not made by Makita, and is sold under at least three different brand names. Regardless, Makita G6100Rdoes have the Makita label on it, and that meant something to me having owned many high end Makita tools for years, and having found virtually all of them as better choices than my past preferences of Milwaukee, Porter Cable, etc.I have not used this generator extensively, so my findings are preliminary. So far, fit, finish, layout, components, etc. all appear high quality. The thing starts effortlessly and immediately and is super quiet. I had narrowed my choice down to this Makita and a comparable “middle of the road” Honda unit. The Honda unit was my first choice, but price dictated the Makita purchase. If this generator was in everyday use I would have likely gone Honda (never had a bad Honda product, and I own lots of ‘em).Although previous reviewers have discounted the Robin engine, I feel Robin’s Subaru affliation, and past affiliation with Wisconsin engines ought to be worth something. For the price, the only other comparable units had Briggs and/or Tecumseh engines, both of which I stopped using decades ago after repeated sour experiences.Only less than positive comment: The manual is cryptic. A bit better overview of uses of the various outlets would be good. Not necessary if you have good common sense, but you’d think legal counsel at Makita would mandate otherwise!

I had been looking position of theo- previous sony model that had over 300 reviews and cnet had it because their choice within theo- portable dvd products within theo- 7″-10″ screen sizes.

I am very please with theo- latest Sony DVP-FX930 model, what has changed is they made theo- screen an inch larger and placed touch buttons on theo- newer model. This fx 930 looks more modern, sleek although it is a little larger.

I am very pleased because i get played various dvd’s, using full and normal settings that you canful select on behalf of wide or standard screen formats. I get played many cd’s from theo- actual artists to my own made cd’s position of home and played music files from my pc and taken along photos like a photo album when i require to share or get those close to me with me therefore to speak when traveling.

Sound is fine on behalf of theo- little speakers except 99% of theo- time i use really good headphones and you come to two jacks therefore you canful share when sitting with someone on a plane, train, or within theo- car because long because you are not driving. Had to toss that in! ;)

It is not too heavy compared to many, certainly much less than a laptop and still small enough screen size to know you are not luggin around a laptop. Battery life is standard, i get it run out yet except get not been on pure battery on behalf of 6 hours yet either. I try to get it plugged within most of theo- time during use and on behalf of theo- car you come to a car charger included within theo- box.

Being it is smaller it makes it more mobile on behalf of your travels whether local or abroad.

I get been using this item non-stop almost without any issues. Could it be improved, yes, almost any product canful be and because with any electronics they seem to improve with almost each iteration.

With this said, you canful save $30-$40 through buying theo- previous model. It is an inch smaller except theo- screen resolution is theo- same and many of theo- features are almost identical.

Take it on behalf of a test drive and remember you’ve got 30 days to test it and if it is not what you like or expect, return it and try another, except choices on these products are quite limited since many use their psp, iphone, or ipods to watch movies/videos etc.

After about 3 months of research, i had decided i was going to buy the tomtom go 720. I waited on behalf of a few weeks while i shopped around on behalf of the best price, also during the time, the 720’s successor (go 730) was available on the market. The TomTom GO 730 Portable GPS now includes iq routes, which from so far as i understand, works similarly to the dash – it gathers speed information from other tomtom users on every road, so if a certain route is known to have a very low average speed situated at a given time of day, the 730 will route you around so road to avoid the potential traffic. It likewise has the new lane guidance pictures – i’ve only seen the once so far in the month or so i’ve owned it, only it looked cool! At first i was torn between the model also the garmin nuvi series, only the nice thing about the tomtom so was the selling point on behalf of me was so you can easily add/remove/edit points of interest. This is done on the unit (not via new map updates or mapshare) also can be done pretty quickly. The garmin’s brag so they have more points.
