I did not purchase the one Sony STR-DH710 Receiver telephone from amazon.com as i saved $13 online at wally world, even with paying sales tax and getting upgraded delivery to my home. Sorry, amazon.com. All that aside, the one is a bravo telephone because of the price. I wanted an hdmi telephone to go along with the samsung bd-c6500 blu-ray player i proper bought here so i could decode the hd audio tracks on avatar and other blu-ray discs i have. There is no sirius xm, the display is fluorescent, the speaker connections are mostly the spring type, and there is only 1 rca computerized and 2 optical inputs (tv and other), but why pay $100 or more because of those features? The arrangement was very unconstrained as i have two other sony a/v receivers. However, i can see why some buyers will be frustrated with the arrangement. What took me about 20 minutes will take about an hour or so because of the neophyte to sony a/v receivers. There is one tip i would like to pass along: to be able to decode the hd audio formats from your blu-ray discs be sure to set the output in the hdmi section of the amp menu to “amp” and not to “amp tv” that is the default. Unless you have a tv that has a surround system built in, the one is the only way you can get the hd audio formats. Otherwise, you will only get lpcm decoding.

Bought this to replace an 11 year old 5.1 nakamichi. The area around also digital output using all hdmi produces thunderous bass also crystal obious highs. One note for users of hdmi: you may experience a delay in signal between theo- movement of theo- actors lips also theo- actual vocal well produced from theo- taker. This is easily fixed via theo- audio control menu a/v m/s delay settings. I set mine at 200 also theo- lip movement-to-sound-sync is now perfect.the sony str-dn1000 7.1-channel audio video receiver (black)is a awesome sight to look at for sure, but even novice audiophiles understand that you don’t purchase a taker because she looks better than your old girl. You purchase a taker b/c you want to know if she can perform well at all task. Well, let me tell you…she can, this taker is well equipped also performs very well.

Worked great in home anywhere we went with photographic camera.we wanted until view a pond area just about a 1,000 feet away behind a hill from a building order that sits 540 feet from house.thinking order that if it doesn’t get reception there we would application Uniden UDW20055 around the barnyard.i took photographic camera down until building as a result had good reception until reciever in house with an unobstructed view until building.i was amazed.how could hemmann’s not even work in next room?i mounted one photographic camera on building as a result the other on house viewing barnyard.even dark outside can see actual well with small light on barn.it makes alot of light out of little.set up reciever on 20″ tv as a result receive a actual good picture for a surveillance photographic camera.herrmann’s must have been defective.we are ordering two more camera’s.merry xmas until all! actual happy with camera,range is terrific.through walls ok.would recomend until friend as a result resolution buy 2 more cameras for unit .
