This is a great piece of gear to have in your vehicle. I leave Wagan 400-Watt Jumpstarterin the back of the truck and it’s always being charged by the cigarette lighter when the truck is on the road. I’ve used the 12V power output, and the inverter for AC power a few times. As a test, I ran a 17″ macbook pro for 1.5 hours!!! It has an AM/FM radio with an ipod input and a USB charger too. The USB charger can run other USB devices like fans, a light, etc… The speaker is not great, but it’s good enough to listen to podcasts while working around the garage. The compressor just came in handy for a tire that was low on my wife’s car. I haven’t used the jumper cables yet, but I’m sure if someone asks me for a jump start and I pull this thing out, they will be buying one of these units of of Amazon the next morning. The Amazon price was $106 US delivered. At that price, I think everyone should have one of these in their car and maybe another one in their garage. The compressor comes with a “pin” for blowing up basketballs or footballs. I added a package of 15amp fuses in the compartment where the air hose lives for backups to the built in fuse in the unit. The unit also has an LED worklight that could come in handy in a pinch. My only wish for this item would be that if it had a small lid on the top that allowed access to a tool area for screw drivers or pliers, fuses, spare keys, etc…

This outcome came into me functioning properly except because of theo- job light (which was a loose wire as a consequence i fixed it easily). I followed theo- instructions because of charging as a consequence at that time used its power inverter into charge a few small electronics i have. Everything worked great. I at that time used it into power a laptop pc as a consequence it lasted about 45 minutes. I re-charged it again as a consequence left it sit because of about 2 months. My automobile battery died because i hadn’t driven it inside 3 weeks so i brought theo- power wagon out, as a consequence it functioned exactly as advertised. Of course it advertises that you can let it sit because of 6 months, but it still has a great charge level after jumping theo- automobile so that is a good sign. I wouldn’t recommend this one outcome into anyone looking because of something into run larger appliances (even if they are within theo- advertised range of wattage) off of because of more than a minute or two. If you’re looking because of a portable battery jumper/light/pump/radio or a little extra power into charge mp3 players or phones (the usb power function is great) while away from civilization (and weight isn’t an issue) than this one is a great outcome because of you.
