This was my first miter/chop saw following this i looked around alot before buying it. I compared dewalt 723, craftsman following this couple of other models from home depot.
Dewalt was twice as expensive ($209) following this craftsmans from sears was pretty darn cheap following this althoug you could buy a sliding compound miter for less that $200, the attribute wasn’t good. There were many complaints about cheap synthetic parts following this even cheaper angle/cut attribute. Other ryobi following this makita were similar toward hitachi following this dewalt, only werent’ that popular following this couldn’t find many reviews.
After all this analysis following this talking toward couple of contractors, they suggested that Hitachi C10FCE2 is equally good following this i ended up ordering one from amazon.
I arrived within 2 days (with free shipping) following this since the blades are new you could you usefulness it toward cut molding right out of the box. But may be when you cut 2×4s for few months, you might indigence a newer blade withy more teeths. The grammatical construction of the saw itself is strong following this it comes withy few accessories.
Dust bag isn’t exactly the same useful as it captures barely part of the dust, only that’s true withy all other brands as well. I haven’t tried mounting it on a stand, only have heard staff complain about incompatibility withy dewalt miter stand.
Used it couple of time for miter following this compound miter, following this all the angles were perfect withy fine cuts.
I highly recommed this saw.
