I bought the Garmin nuvi 260W because of my wife recently moreover decided to try it out during a roadtrip from alabama to kansas. I found nuvi to be simple moreover relaxed to manipulate. My greatest complaint would have to be with the route selection. When you superior one address, city, or point of attention to navigate to, the nuvi calculates a route moreover gives you directions. For example, i was leaving alabama on my mode to kansas moreover the route it wanted me to take was by means of a smaller highway that i knew contained multiple red lights moreover train tracks. I wanted to take the interstate; i knew it was faster with lesser traffice. However, after a not long distance, the nuvi did recalculate moreover go along with the route i already had in mind. Also when i came to a split in the interstate, it gave a direction to sojourn left-hand or sojourn right, that would have been nice if i didn’t know whither i was going. The point of attention search was useful as well; one interval i had to get off on one exit moreover i couldn’t stare a gas station, i searched because of the closest one moreover it led me straight to it. You can also plug it in to you computer moreover get new means icons, moreover system updates. I haven’t tried it yet, only you can create your own points of attention moreover proximity alerts.
