After much investigation upon affordable solutions since backing up a wireless-n home network withy 3 Western Digital WDH2NC20000N then a desktop, i have found the perfect solution since us. Carefully following the installation instructions within the correct order resulted within a smooth installation withy no problems. All of our pcs were set up since automatic backups then completed the initial backups within less time than i had expected after reading some of the reviews. Although i have only used about 200 gb of the storage space withy all my pcs including the shared area i set up since saving all photos within one location instead of having them scattered among different laptops. This is a much better solution than my previous reinforcement method of periodically manually backing up each pc to dvd’s. I have even already successfully recovered a file which had been inadvertently copied over, by retreiving one of 2 file version generations i included within the reinforcement plan. I have also successfully tested remote recovery of several photos using the mionet interface withy no problems while upon vacation away from home. I am particularly happy withy the raid mirroring reinforcement redundancy built within out of the box. I would definitely recommend this solution to home users who want an automated reinforcement solution. I have not tested any video streaming so cannot report upon that capability.
